Roofline

Roofline is the term we use in the roofing trade to group a few areas relating to your roof including fascia, soffits, guttering and cladding forming the frontage just underneath your roof. Maiva roofing has specialised in Roofline for 8 years since the company was started but Matt Howe who heads up Maiva has been specialising in Roofline for over 20 years.

Fascias

Fascia is a the word to refer to a band underneath the roof edge or which forms the outer surface of a cornice and is visible to someone outside the building.

Soffits

A soffit is what’s directly underneath the roof, a good example of a soffit being an eave.

Guttering

A gutter is the trough-shaped system that funnels away rain from your roof and can be made from lead, steel, Cooper, and more commonly plastics such as PVC.

The main reason to focus on Roofline is how dramatically it can improve the visual appeal of your property. We can colour match to meet the scheme you wish to carry on with or the impact you’re looking to achieve whilst also explore a variety of different looks that can create a wow factor for your property.

Roofline is a key part of any roof and one that can make a real difference. Whether it’s the boards and accessory products that form the detail or how these items combine to protect along where a roof where the edge meets the wall of a building – either way roofline matters.

If you’re in need of updated roofline and want a no obligation quote, don’t hesitate to contact Maiva Roofing today and Matt will be in touch shortly.
